FIVE GIANTS LEGALLY ARMED

Run-and-gun receiver Plaxico Burress isn’t the only Giant who packs heat. At least five of his teammates legally own weapons, according to a Post review of public records and news reports.

Burress’ comrades-in-arms are linebacker Daniel Clark, cornerback Sam Madison, defensive end Renaldo Wynn and running backs Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward.

Clark and Madison are licensed to carry concealed weapons in Florida, but both permits are set to expire next year. Defensive end Jerome McDougle’s permit expired last year.

Neither New York nor New Jersey recognizes out-of-state gun permits.

After Burress accidentally shot himself on Nov. 29, Jacobs, Ward and Wynn publicly revealed that they, too, were licensed to walk around armed.

It’s not known whether additional Giants are, since only six states allow the public to search their gun-permit records.
