CLUB ‘RAPE’ ORDEAL

A sex predator dragged a woman too intoxicated to walk from a scandal-plagued Manhattan nightclub, then took her to his Queens apartment and raped her twice, prosecutors charged yesterday.

The victim told investigators that she passed out after drinking at the Marquee club in Chelsea on March 22 and when she woke up, Luis Zambrano, 38, was having sex with her, prosecutors said.

Video from the club’s surveillance cameras showed the victim passed out on a couch with Zambrano kissing her and placing his hand on her crotch, prosecutors said.

The video also showed him dragging her down a flight of stairs and out of the club, court papers said.

Zambrano told investigators he met the drunken victim at the club and suspected she had been drugged, court papers said. She kept falling asleep, could not walk without help and had difficulty speaking, he said.

Zambrano allegedly said he took her to his apartment in College Point, where he had sex with her twice.

He was arrested Thursday after a three-month investigation on charges of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping, and faces a maximum penalty of 25 years behind bars.

He was released on $10,000 bail on Monday.

A spokeswoman for Marquee had no comment.

Marquee made headlines in December when a Brooklyn woman, Laura Garza, 25, vanished after leaving the nightspot with Michael Mele, 23, a convicted sex offender who lives in Wallkill.

Garza, 25, got into a car with Mele and a pal after leaving the club. She was last seen at around 5 a.m. when the friend told cops he left the car at a McDonald’s parking lot in Newburgh.

Cops have searched for her body with no luck.

Mele, who is being held on $300,000 bail in Orange County, has been charged with possession of stolen debit and credit cards and failure to register an address change.

He has also been charged with violating his probation terms by visiting the club because alcohol is served there.

A judge threw out the possession of stolen debit and credit cards charge but has given the prosecution the opportunity to reargue it.
