An 84-year-old Queens man was found dead inside his ransacked home, with his hands and feet bound yesterday, cops said.
William Cyril was discovered lying face down on his bed by a health-care attendant who went to check on him.
When she arrived at the house on 216th Street in Queens Village just before 9 a.m., she noticed that a window had been broken and that the house was in shambles.
There were no visible sign of trauma. It wasn’t known how Cyril died, but cops were treating his death as a homicide.
“I can’t imagine why someone would do something like this to him,” said Dolores Shea, 81, a longtime neighbor.
Cyril had been despondent recently after losing his wife, Shea said.
