POLICE: MAN ARRESTED IN BRONX CABBY SHOOTING

Police made an arrest today in the deadly shooting of a livery cab driver in the Bronx last night.

Benny Delgado, 31, was allegedly seen running from the cab after the shooting on Wales Avenue near 147th Street in the Mott Haven section, police said.

Delgado has a lengthy rap sheet, including pleading guilty in 1995 to second-degree murder, police said.

He was sentenced to five to 15 years.

Jose Pena Seguira, 42, was shot in the head at 11 p.m. last night. After the shooting, he crashed his Lincoln Town Car into two parked cars.

Seguira, who was a driver for Kiss Cab Company, later died at Lincoln Hospital.

Last week, Amadou Ndiaye, 47, another Bronx livery driver, was shot and killed in a robbery in Baychester.
