COPS WOUND BX. ‘GUNMAN’

Cops shot and wounded a Bronx man early yesterday morning after he pointed a gun at his girlfriend and her family and threatened to shoot them, authorities said.

Responding to a 911 call, officers burst into the family’s apartment on Willis Avenue near East 146th Street, and ordered Yancy Jiminian, 21, to drop the gun. When he raised the weapon, police said, the officers fired two shots. Jiminian allegedly returned fire, and the cops fired 10 more shots, striking him once in the hip.

He was charged with attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
