GAL PAL CAN VISIT JAILED PREPPY

After 22 years of sharing kisses through prison glass, countless bags of heroin and an indictment on felony cocaine sales, Shawn Kovell still loves her Preppy Killer.

Now, she can visit the notorious strangler, Robert Chambers, at an upstate maximum-security facility, a Manhattan judge ruled yesterday.

“She can go visit whoever she wishes,” Justice Charles Solomon said as he sentenced Kovell to five years’ probation for helping Chambers sell a half-pound of coke to undercover cops out of her East 57th Street apartment two years ago.

Chambers can’t be freed before 2024.

“Of course!” Kovell said outside Manhattan Criminal Court yesterday when asked if she’ll visit him and wait for his release. “I’m not going anywhere!”

Kovell fell in love with Chambers as an 18-year-old fan at his 1986 trial for the Central Park murder of Jennifer Levin, and visited him every week as he served his 15-year prison term.

They were arrested together in 2007 when cops used a battering ram to crash through the door of her apartment-turned-drug den.

“After 22 years, I don’t love him any less than Day One,” Kovell said.
