A 10-year-old boy died after falling from a Brooklyn building last night, cops said.
“Give me my baby! Give me my baby!” screamed the boy’s mother when she came on the tragic scene outside the Albany Houses in Crown Heights.
The child, whose name was withheld, may have been pretending to use a parachute, a source said. A blue plastic bag was found near where he was discovered lying near the building’s entrance shortly after 7 p.m., according to witnesses
“His legs looked mangled and I saw blood coming out of his mouth,” said Wanda Boone, who was nearby when he fell.
The boy was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he died 45 minutes later. It wasn’t immediately known where he fell from, but cops believe it’s more likely the roof of the 13-story building rather than one of the apartments.
