Charlie Sheen back to work on ‘Two and a Half Men’ after scandal-filled week

Charlie Sheen was back at work Tuesday on the set of his hit TV show “Two and a Half Men” — a week after NYC police were called to Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel where they found the actor drunk and disoriented after he allegedly trashed his room in a drug-fueled frenzy, People magazine reported.

“We have resumed normally this week. The show was on hiatus last week and the entire cast is back on set today,” a rep for the CBS comedy series told the entertainment magazine.

The 45-year-old actor’s return to work comes the day after he filed papers in Los Angeles to divorce his third wife Brooke Mueller, 33.

The couple were married in May 2008 but began living separately after Sheen assaulted Mueller during a 2009 Christmas vacation in Aspen, Colo. The couple have twin boys, Bob and Max, who were born in 2009.

On October 26, a drugged up and naked Charlie Sheen — just two months out of rehab for the Colorado assault charges — trashed his room at the midtown New York City hotel in a frantic bid to find his wallet and cellphone after partying with a porn star, authorities told the New York Post.

At that time, Sheen was in New York with ex-wife Denise Richards, 39, and their two daughters — six-year-old Sam and five-year-old Lola — for a family vacation.

A CBS spokeswoman told NewsCore the network had no comment on the news surrounding the Sheen hotel incident.
