Actor Charlie Sheen ‘not panicking’ after ‘one bad night’ at a NYC hotel

American actor Charlie Sheen said he is “not panicking” after the media frenzy that erupted when he was found drunk and in alleged drug-fueled rage at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, Extra reported Monday.

“If a guy has one bad night everybody goes insane and panics … I’m not panicking,” Sheen, 45, told the celebrity news television program.

Sheen is back to work on the set of his hit TV show “Two and a Half Men” after the hotel trashing incident and the announcement that he is divorcing his third wife, Brooke Mueller.

“Doing great,” he said. “Just finished a show … [I’m] back to work. Everything’s good, everything’s good,” he added about his state of mind amid the chaos of his personal life.

On October 26, a drugged up and naked Sheen — just two months out of rehab for assault charges — trashed his room at the midtown New York City luxury hotel in a frantic bid to find his wallet, watch and cellphone after partying with a porn star.

He still has not found the $150,000 Patek Philippe watch he lost that October night.

“The way I look at it, if you have expensive tastes, you gotta be prepared for expensive losses,” he said.

On November 1, Sheen filed papers seeking a divorce from Mueller, 33, who he married in May 2008. The couple began living separately after Sheen assaulted Mueller during a 2009 Christmas vacation in Aspen, Colo.

They are parents to twin boys, Bob and Max, who were born in 2009.
