ESPN wants $300,000 in restitution from Andrews peeper: report

ESPN wants the Internet pervert who stalked reporter Erin Andrews to pay for his crime — literally!

The 24-hour cable sports network wants more than $300,000 from Michael David Barrett, 48, for the mess he caused them, TMZ.com reported today.

In documents filed in federal court Monday in Los Angeles, ESPN claims it had to pay for extra security to protect Andrews, according to TMZ.

ESPN also claims it incurred losses “from assisting the government in its investigation” — doling out a whopping $327,442.27 once it was revealed that nude images of Andrews had popped up on the Internet.

This comes as Andrews, who has said she’s been an emotional basket case since the footage entered Internet infamy last year, is also seeking $335,000 in restitution from Barrett.

The sicko pleaded guilty to stalking Andrews last year and began serving a 30-month sentence on May 3.

Videos of Andrews and other women are still floating around the Internet under such titles as “Erin Andrews in a Pink Thong,” “Sexy Hot Blonde Strips After Workout” and “Hottie Breasts.”

Prosecutors have said that Barrett would hunt down Andrews to her hotel and rent the room next to hers, then shoot video footage of her naked through the peephole.

He admitted to doing this three times, as she showered, dried her hair and got dressed.

Barrett then posted 10 videos on the Web — and another 32 “hotel peephole” clips of the other women — over the years.
