Oversexed in the city

With a giant swish of her Halston Heritage gown, Sarah Jessica Parker proved she can still get Carrie-d away at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala last night. She completed her look with a flower in her hair — a nod both to her alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw, and to this month’s release of her hotly anticipated film, “Sex and the City 2.”

Speaking of hot, Tom Brady was really feeling his wife’s dress — literally. His supermodel honey Gisele Bundchen rocked a smoking hot woven leather minidress by Alexander Wang. Of her dress, she told The Post, “It’s very soft leather.” Patriots quarterback Brady, who kept his hand firmly rooted on Bundchen’s bottom, clearly agreed.

“Gossip Girl” Blake Lively also kept temperatures — and hemlines — high with her peacock chiffon Marchesa mini that showed off her gorgeous gams. Also right in step were BFFs Liv Tyler, Stella McCartney and Kate Hudson, who formed a delicious leg sandwich in their thigh-baring numbers.

New Hollywood also has legs and knows how to use them: See “Wall Street 2” actress Carey Mulligan in short-short Prada (with pockets!) and “Harry Potter” mainstay Emma Watson in a Burberry column slit all the way up to her Quidditch. Kristen Stewart, however, failed in a sheer Chanel flop, which revealed skin but also poor judgment.

Co-host Anna Wintour wore Chanel a bit more successfully at the event, which celebrated American fashion archetypes from 1890 to 1940. Her chosen co-chair for last night was — who else — but Oprah Winfrey sporting a glorious Oscar de la Renta gown. “I chose Oprah to co-chair because she is the American woman,” Wintour said.

But even the icon of the night was allowed to enjoy mortal pleasures at the gala. “I will be eating and drinking . . . a lot of tequila,” Oprah said.
