Closing up shop: Tune in to this week’s season finales

We’ve barely gotten back from the holiday break, and already there are shows closing shop for the winter. Finales worth checking out:

“Dracula” (Friday, 10 p.m., NBC)

After a promising start, the Jonathan Rhys Myers interpretation of Dracula as a businessman turned out to be a lot more waiting than blood-letting. Old Vlad spent much of the first season longing for Mina (Jessica De Gouw), a reminder of dead wife, but in the first season finale he’ll finally face off against Lady Jane (Victoria Smurfit), who’s done a lot more vampire hunting than that Van Helsing (Thomas Kretschmann).

“Revenge” (Sunday, 9 p.m., ABC)

The gloves are off and Mama can only hope for a “War of the Roses” type fight between one-time lovers, now mortal enemies Daniel (Josh Bowman) and Emily (Emily VanCamp) in the third season winter finale — the show comes back in March. As the increasingly unstable Emily — her speech to Aiden (Barry Sloane) about choosing vengeance over love last week earned her a fast-track ticket to crazy town — holds the secret of her real killer over the Graysons, the Hamptonites are bound to unite to get her out of their house. But Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) convenient switch of the infinity boxes ensured that Emily’s secret vendetta can continue to fuel this series for at least the rest of the season.

Chris Messina and Mindy KalingJordin Althaus/FOX

“The Mindy Project” (Tuesday, 9:30 p.m., Fox)

Following last week’s wild party in LA, Mindy Kahlig’s character goes chasing after Cliff (Glenn Howerton) in the second season winter finale, but she instead ends up in the desert with Danny (Chris Messina) and his estranged dad, played by Dan Hedaya, better known as Nick Tortelli, Carla’s ex-husband on “Cheers.”

“Sleepy Hollow” (Monday, 8 p.m., Fox)

Riding a season of history-altering police procedural cases, this re-imaging of the Headless Horseman story has been fun thanks mostly to the chemistry between stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie. So how do you top off a season of changing the course of America in a two-hour season finale? You add a demon to the story of George Washington’s death. But of course.

“American Horror Story: Coven” (Wednesday, Jan. 29, 10 p.m., FX)

The funniest of the three seasons thus far of the warped scary stories wraps next week with a final spell-off for supremacy. The only guarantee for this finale is one more Stevie Nicks song, in honor of the white witch who inspired this season’s soundtrack.
