Music’s over as crooks ‘score’ TV-tunes laptop

Reality’s been robbed of its soundtrack.

A pair of grifters distracted the receptionist of a Flatiron District recording studio long enough to snatch a composer’s pricey laptop containing hours of new music for upcoming episodes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “American Pickers,” police said.

The scam artists stopped at the front desk of Jingle Punks’ ninth-floor office on West 22nd Street at 6 p.m. Wednesday and asked to speak with “Terri” — an employee who did not exist.

A few minutes later, the two men returned, and while one of them distracted an intern working the front desk by asking for a Post-it to write a note, the other made off with the $3,500 MacBook, cops said.

“I was in the recording studio and came out, and I didn’t see my computer,” composer William McIntyre, 23, said. “I lost at least three hours of finished music that I’d composed.”

Building employees said the theft was at least the third case of “office cruising” in the building in the last year.
