B’klyn student stabs classmate dead: cops

A Brooklyn college student fatally stabbed a fellow classmate early yesterday after the two men got into a fight at a fraternity party, cops said.

Daren Venable, 20, from Crown Heights, repeatedly knifed Jeffrey Bordeaux Jr. in the chest at the Delta Upsilon house on the University of Rochester’s campus at around 1 a.m., cops said.

Venable, a junior at the school, was charged with murder.

“This is not like him, he had to be provoked,” said a shocked relative. “He’s a really nice kid.”

Venable and Bordeaux had been feuding for awhile, cops said without revealing what the dispute was about.

Venable, who graduated from the School for International Studies HS in Brooklyn in 2008, is a philosophy major.

In an eerie twist, he lists “Prison Break” as one of his favorite television shows on his Facebook profile.

Bordeaux, also a junior who was majoring in political science, had won two scholarships to study abroad and also ran track for the university, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle said.
