Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear are back at work on a warts-and-all miniseries about the Kennedys.
Insiders say the filming resumes this week with scenes from late in their marriage — just before the assassination in Dallas — when JFK was deep into his White House backstairs philandering and Jackie was just catching onto his infidelities.
Holmes, who plays Jackie, has been seen around the set scowling and looking serious, trying to maintain her character’s troubled state of mind, they said.
The wife of Tom Cruise was in New York earlier this week for the opening of her new movie, “The Extra Man,” a light-hearted drama she stars in with Kevin Kline and Paul Dano.
The four-hour minseries, produced by Joel Surnow, the creator of the Fox series “24,” has been filming in Toronto since last month. It is set to air early next year.
