South Beach or Shanxi?
Stephon Marbury told a Chinese newspaper that he passed on an opportunity to play with the Heat and is considering heading back to China, where he was a member of the Shanxi Zhongyu last season.
“They [the Heat] wanted a point guard,” the former Knicks guard told the People’s Daily Online of China. “But I don’t think a point guard would do as much in the team as they’ve already had the three guys [Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh].”
