iPhone out
A hulking 6-foot-3 hooligan knocked a 38-year-old man out with one punch as he robbed him of his iPhone on Flatbush Avenue on Aug. 1.
The thug stopped his victim between DeKalb Avenue and Fulton Street at 11:30 pm while the man chatted on his pricey smartphone.
“How much money do you have on you?” the fiend asked him. But before the victim responded, the thief lunged out with one of his heavy meat hooks, flooring him with one blow.
MetroMenace
A gun-toting goon placed the business end of a pistol to the back of a straphanger’s head during a daring mid-morning Aug. 2 mugging.
The 37-year-old victim had just entered a train station near the corner of Lafayette and Washington avenues at 11:12 am and was approaching a MetroCard vending machine when the thief crept up behind him, put a gun to his head and forced him to hand over his wallet, police were told.
Pathmarked
A thug jumped a 50-year-old outside the Pathmark on Atlantic Avenue on Aug. 8, leaving the man with a smattering of injuries.
The victim told police he had just left the supermarket between Sixth Avenue and Fort Greene Place at 5 am when the stranger attacked him for no reason.
The victim ended up with deep cuts to the back of his head, police said.
Clinton choke
A goon grappled with a 26-year-old woman on Clinton Avenue on Aug. 5 and ultimately ran off with his victim’s handbag, Blackberry and sandals.
The woman was between Greene and Gates avenues at 2:35 am when the thug grabbed her, punched her in the head and put her in a headlock before swiping her belongings.
Four on one
A quarrelling quartet was arrested on Aug. 4 for ganging up on a livery cab driver.
Officials said the foursome confronted the cabbie near the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Fort Greene Place at 7 pm. As they argued, the suspects repeatedly kicked the cabbie’s 2006 Crown Victoria. They then lunged at the 40-year-old, leaving him unconscious on the street.
Sandman sneak
A thief crept into a woman’s S. Elliott Place apartment on Aug. 6 — while her housemate slept in the next room!
The 49-year-old told police that she was counting sheep inside her pad between DeKalb and Lafayette avenues at 12:40 am when some loud voices woke her up.
Knowing that her roommate was away, the woman called 911. She then investigated the noise, finding only an open window.
A dresser had been rummaged through, but it was unclear if anything was taken, the victim told police.
Bike bilkers
Two masked thieves on bicycles held up a teen on Aug, 2, forcing him to hand over his $700 cellphone, as well as $3 from his pocket.
The victim told police that he was at Lafayette and Waverly avenues at 11 am when the hooligans — their faces obscured with bandannas and hoodies — rolled up and ordered him to fork over his property.
No weapons were shown, police said.
Vehicular villains
At least two vehicles were broken into over the last week. Here’s the rundown:
• A thief entered a 2008 Nissan Versa on Aug. 3, swiping a wallet from inside the cabin. The 31-year-old car owner had left his vehicle on Lafayette Avenue and Ashland Place at 6:15 pm.
• A thief broke into a parking lot on July 30 just so he could get into a van parked inside. Police were told that the van was left at the Hall Street lot between Flushing and Park avenues at 5:30 pm. When the owner of the van returned at 10:30 am the next morning, the fence had been cut and two saws were missing from the car, cops were told.
