The alleged neo-Nazi Greenwich Village bomb plotter corresponded from jail with a suspended Rockland County correction officer facing cocaine charges and leading state troopers on a high-speed chase, a lawyer confirmed yesterday.
The strange connection was revealed during a hearing in Orangetown Town Court for Daniel Whittaker, who had an arsenal of weapons seized from his home Wednesday by the NYPD in connection with bomb-plot suspect Aaron Greene.
“I objected to the introduction of the letters, and the judge sustained the objection, not allowing the prosecutor to get into the nature of their relationship,” said Whittaker’s defense attorney, Joey Jackson. “This trial has nothing to do with guilt by association.”
