Zach Galifianakis heading to FX

Zach Galifianakis is heading to FX.

“The Hangover” star is set to headline a comedy pilot for the network that he is co-writing with comedian and “Louie” star Louis C.K.

The collaboration is the first project to come out of the deal CK signed with FX Productions last month to develop and produce new series with an eye to helping other creators get their projects off the ground.

There is no concept yet for the untitled comedy, which joins 12 other pilots in contention at the network including projects starring Billy Crystal, Tracy Morgan and Denis Leary.

CK’s “Louie” returns to FX for its fourth season in May.
