A man was attacked by a business associate who wielded a folding chair as a weapon, authorities said.

Gerald Akhtar, 48, and an accomplice allegedly ambushed the 29-year-old victim at about 5:45 a.m. on June 8 on Seventh Avenue near 48th Street.

“I’m going to kill you!” Akhtar snapped, according to court records.

He hit the man with the chair, bruising his arm and head, and also flashed a pair of scissors, cops said.

Akhtar and the victim know each other through a music studio in the neighborhood, cops added.

Akhtar was arrested on June 25 and charged with assault and menacing. The accomplice is still on the loose.

The Bronx

A man was shot dead yesterday on a Morris Heights street corner, police said.

Officers responding to a 911 call of a shooting at 4:16 a.m. found Joseph Seaborough, 27, shot in the head at East 168th Street and the Grand Concourse, police said.

Seabrook, who had nine prior arrests for stolen property and assault, died at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. His killer remained on the loose yesterday.

Queens

A teen motorcyclist died when he smashed into a car in Jackson Heights, police said.

Americo Nunez-Persio, 17, was riding a 2001 Honda bike eastbound on Astoria Boulevard at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday when he slammed into a westbound 2008 Honda Accord turning south onto 88th Street, police added.

Nunez-Persio was killed instantly.

The 29-year-old Accord driver remained on the scene and spoke at length with investigators.

No criminality is suspected, police said.

Brooklyn

The burglar pictured is wanted for swiping money from a pastry-dessert shop in Flatbush, police said.

The suspect broke into Connecticut Muffins at 1106 Cortelyou Road at about 2 a.m. Monday and pocketed cash from two registers in an office.

An enraged woman pepper-sprayed a Coney Island couple and their young children after they gave her emaciated, dehydrated dog food and water, cops said.

The couple, in their early 30s, spotted the chained pup, who they said appeared malnourished, at Surf and Stillwell avenues at about 9:45 p.m. Monday and brought it water and pieces of chicken, cops said.

“You can’t feed my dog chicken, the dog will choke on the bones!” screeched an angry Morgan Maginnes, 24, who unleashed a torrent of pepper spray at the couple and their children, ages 1 and 2, cops said.

Responding police arrested Maginnes on charges of assault, endangering the welfare of children and weapons possession.

The victims were treated at Coney Island Hospital for minor facial irritation.

A quick-thinking bicycle-theft victim helped cops set up a sting to nab a suspect in Marine Park, authorities said.

Two hoodlums snagged the victim’s bike after he left it leaning against a wall at Gerritsen Avenue and Avenue U at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, according to court papers.

The next day, Anthony Corona, 21, tried to sell the boosted ride to the bicycle shop where the victim had purchased it, cops said.

The shop had the victim’s purchase order on file and alerted him to the attempted sale, cops added.

He, in turn, organized a sting operation with police, and Corona was collared on charges of petit larceny and possession of stolen property.

Staten Island

Cops raiding a Mariners Harbor home found drugs, four illegal guns and more than 300 rounds of ammunition, authorities said.

Officers descended on the Simonson Avenue residence of Desmond Thomas, 23, at about noon Monday and found three 9mm handguns and a .45-caliber semiautomatic firearm in his bedroom, according to court papers.

“I got those guns a long time ago,” he allegedly admitted.

The ammunition was hidden inside audio speakers and a bucket in the bedroom, cops said.

The search also yielded two baggies of cocaine, six ecstasy pills, bath salts and narcotics packaging, court documents show.

Two imitation pistols and fireworks were also found, cops added.

Thomas, who has a previous assault bust, was charged with a slew of weapons and drug charges, as well as unlawfully dealing fireworks, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
