‘Mike
& Molly” will live on in rerun heaven on FX.
The cable network bought the syndication rights to the top-rated CBS comedy this week from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, according to deadline.com.
FX, which has had success airing reruns of the CBS comedies “Two and a Half Men” and “How I Met Your Mother,” will begin to show “M&M” reruns in September 2014.
The series stars Melissa McCarthy — who won an Emmy last year for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as Molly — and Billy Gardell as a couple who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous group, fall in love and marry.
The series completed its second season in May and begins its third season this fall.
