Couple busted when pot filled FedEx box arrives at medical center

Maybe it was medical marijuana.

A couple was busted after they had 30 pounds of marijuana delivered by FedEx to a pediatric medical center on 115th Street and Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill, cops said.

When Alicia Saunders, 23, a former employee at the pediatric center was contacted by an employee that a package arrived, she alerted boyfriend Marlon Morris, 41, to pick it up.

A concerned and curious employee decided to open the package before Morris, 41, showed up to retrieve the goods.

Inside, the worker found 30 pounds of marijuana tightly sealed and packed in the box, cops said.

The medical center alerted police and both were arrested.

Saunders, 23, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

Boyfriend Marlon Morris,41, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct, cops said.
