Your big game viewing guide

Super Bowl Sunday is less than 48 hours away, and it’s definitely not too early to start planning your TV schedule. Grab the clicker and be sure to have The Post’s viewers guide with you, in order to navigate through all your options leading up to, including and following, the big game.

9 a.m.

No time to get dressed and have breakfast, turn on NFL Network for the start of 9 1⁄2 hours of pre-game coverage from New Orleans. If you’re an ESPN fan, its coverage kicks off at 10 a.m.

12:30 p.m.

Are you ready for some … hockey? Sidney Crosby and the Penguins square off with Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals on NBC.

1:30 p.m.

Not a sports fan? No problem. There are plenty of reality TV marathons being used as counter-programming, including “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo and “Say Yes to the Dress” on TLC. Law & Order fans can tune in to TBS, which is showing more than 24 hours straight of the show.

2 p.m.

CBS, which carries this year’s Super Bowl, starts its pre-game coverage. Join James Brown, Bill Cowher, Shannon Sharpe, Boomer Esiason and Dan Marino as they fill time as best they can leading up until kickoff in the Big Easy.

College basketball fans — there are not many games today, but ESPN has a Big East clash between ranked Marquette and Louisville that tips off at 2 p.m.

3 p.m.

Puppy Bowl IX on Animal Planet. The two-hour game has become a staple of Super Bowl Sunday. Last year’s Puppy Bowl had almost nine million viewers and has added hedgehog cheerleaders and a puppy hot tub this year.

Not around at 3? No problem. It’s re-airing until 3 a.m.

Also at 3 p.m., local hockey fans get a pre-Super Bowl treat on MSG and MSG Plus, as the Devils head to Nassau Coliseum to face the rival Islanders. The game will end in plenty of time for the big game, even if it goes into a shootout.

6:25 p.m.

After hours of waiting, it’s finally here. Alicia Keys gets Super Bowl XLVII started with the National Anthem, and the game’s first prop bet. Will the anthem last over or under 2 minutes 15 seconds? Next, referee Jerome Boger does the coin toss, and the game is underway.

Approx. 8:45 p.m.

Beyonce promises to sing live in a halftime routine that is likely to include her former Destiny’s Child band mates.

If you need a little break from the NFL action, head to Fox for “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy,” starting at 8 p.m.,

Approximately

10 p.m.

The Super Bowl is over and one Harbaugh has emerged victorious. Cue the hours of celebrating and post-game coverage on CBS before a live Super Bowl special with funnyman Craig Ferguson. If you still haven’t had enough NFL today, NFL Network, ESPN or CBS Sports Network are the places to turn to for all your post-game needs.

11 p.m.

If your team won, tune into HSN or QVC as they will be rolling out all your championship merchandise from hats to T-shirts to anything else you can think of that can fit a “Super Bowl Champions” logo on it.

So you have made it through another Super Bowl Sunday. You now have 364 days to recover until Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey!
