Cops hunt hit-run driver that seriously hurt teen in Bay Ridge

A teen was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Bay Ridge, cops said.

The 15-year-old boy told cops he had the light while crossing the intersection of 78th Street and Fourth Avenue about 8 p.m., but a driver hit him and fled southbound on Fourth Avenue, authorities said.

EMS rushed him to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition, according to an FDNY spokesman.

An empty 2002 Audi with front damage was discovered shortly after on 93rd Street near Fourth Avenue, but no arrests have been made, police sources said.

Cops were canvassing the area near the accident for surveillance video.
