Bengals eyeing former Giants RB Bradshaw

First it was the Steelers who were interested in signing Ahmad Bradshaw. Now the Bengals are, too.

A visit to Cincinnati could come in the next week or two for the former Giants running back who was cut in February, ProFootballTalk.com reported last night.

Bradshaw visited the Steelers last month, but he left without a contract. It was said Pittsburgh planned to bring him in for further evaluation of his surgically repaired foot.

The Packers and Broncos also have expressed interest in Bradshaw, who rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season.

Eli Manning has been working out this week with Victor Cruz at Duke University. Yesterday, he told ESPN he wants Cruz back with the Giants next season.

“I hope so,’’ said Manning, who also was throwing passes to Hakeem Nicks and Louis Murphy. “I know he wants everything to get finished and be back with the Giants and get back to work.”

Cruz, a restricted free agent, is hoping to sign a long-term deal with the Giants. He recently signed with agent Tom Condon, who also represents Manning.
