Knicks, Nets playoff tickets come at high price

Championship-starved Knicks fans will have to dig deep to see their team’s playoff games against the Celtics at Madison Square Garden.

The average ticket price for the four potential home games was a whopping $629 yesterday, according to Tiq IQ, which tracks the resale ticket market for pro sporting events. And even the cheapest nosebleed seat for Saturday’s 3 p.m. home opener will set you back a steep $158.

That compares to the $367 average price for a seat for the Nets series against the Bulls at Barclays Center, where the cheapest seat for Saturday’s 8 p.m. opener was going for $50.

The price also dwarfs the average $378 for a seat for last season’s series against the Miami Heat, said Chris Matcovich of TiqIQ.
