Residents of a Bronx building where 48 people were injured in a weekend fire were furious to learn that a child playing with a lighter started the blaze.
“[Parents] should pay more attention to what these kids are doing,” said Bridgett Dingle, who lives on the floor the fire started on in the Grand Concourse building.
A year-old girl, dangled out the window by her mom to avoid smoke, was seriously hurt.
