Jennifer Lawrence is back, and she’s traded in her Oscars dress for a revolutionary’s gritty leather jacket.
Unveiled late last night during the MTV Movie Awards, the new trailer for the first sequal to “The Hunger Games” centers arounds Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen character sparking a revolution that President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) plot to destroy.
Set six months after the first movie, “Catching Fire” is considered by many fans to be the best book in the “Hunger Games” trilogy.
The trailer gives away few plot points although it does seem to suggest that the majority of the film’s action will take place in Katniss’ home area known as “District 12” and the Capitol of the dystopian society of Panem.
Directed by series newcomer Francis Lawrence, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be released on November 22nd.
