Giants’ co-owner Tisch jabs Jets over Tebow

Count Giants co-owner Steve Tisch among those who thinks the Jets trading for Tim Tebow was not a smart move.

“Had another team picked him up, after the Broncos, maybe he’d have a career. I think him going from the Broncos to the Jets was not in anybody’s best interest,” Tisch said in a TMZ video posted on the website yesterday morning.

Tisch took that jab at the Jets, but went on to say he doesn’t think Tebow is an awful quarterback and hope he lands with an NFL team for next season.

“I do feel bad for him. I hope he plays football. I think he’s got talent, I think he’s probably a decent guy and not a bad quarterback,” Tisch said, “I sincerely wish him all the best. I think he should try to get a job in the NFL, not in the Lingerie League.”
