Pa. man critical after hit-run in Bronx

An out-of-towner is clinging to life after being mowed down in a hit-and-run incident in Tremont, The Bronx, this morning, cops said.

The 23-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was walking west across Webster Avenue near East 176th Street around 4 a.m. when he was struck, according to police.

The Allentown, Pa., resident was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition with a head injury, authorities said.

Police said they do not have a description of the car hit the victim.

Investigators are canvassing the area for video and witnesses to get a description of the car and driver.
