Mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner — who once told Mayor Bloomberg that, if elected, he’d “have a bunch of ribbon cuttings tearing out your f–king bike lanes” — cruised on one of the new cycles near Chelsea Piers Thursday after an NY1 appearance.
The former congressman yesterday told WOR host John Gambling he has become a different person since his sexting scandal.
“I’ve had two years on — what do you call it? — injured reserve,” he said. “I think I would say to New Yorkers: I kind of am what I am. I fight passionately for things I care about.
“I don’t want my mayor to be passive in the face of outrageous things. I have the velvet glove available. I have the iron fist available.”
