Shocking sex attack: CEO and mother-of-two says stranger drugged, raped her at Chelsea hotel

The CEO pal of a retired NFL player was raped in her room at the Dream Downtown Hotel in Chelsea by a fiend she met at one of the hotel’s bars, law-enforcement sources told The Post yesterday.

The 36-year-old mother of two was having a couple drinks in the swanky West 16th Street hotel early Thursday when the creep, in his 30s, sidled up to her and started flirting, the woman said.

The Florida businesswoman told him that she wasn’t interested.

“I had plugged my phone in across the room. So I kept walking back and forth to it. He never bought me a drink, but he had to have put something in my drink at that time,” the woman told The Post last night.

The last thing she remembered before blacking out was walking to the elevator bank on her way to the rooftop lounge, P-HD, she said.

“It wasn’t like being drunk. I don’t have blurred memory. I blacked out,” she said. The next thing she knew, she woke up in her room with the top of her dress pulled down, she said.

Her cellphone was also missing.

The victim — who said she didn’t realize she had been raped until she got to Roosevelt Hospital — later watched surveillance footage showing her attacker leaving her room with her cellphone and one of her business cards.

Sources said the woman was dating the athlete, but she insisted she was at the bar to meet him for business. He never showed.

Law-enforcement sources said they were reviewing “good” video that will assist in the investigation.

The assailant was described as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound light-skinned man with brown eyes and shaggy brown hair and a crooked nose, according to the woman and sources.

“I just want them to catch him. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else,” the woman fumed. “He knew what he was doing.”

An assistant manager at the hotel declined to comment.
