Gandolfini $$ ghouls

Less than twenty-four hours after fans, friends and family paid their respects to the late James Gandolfini, morbid profiteers were trying to turn a quick buck by selling programs to the actor’s funeral on eBay for more than $1,000.

“James Gandolfini funeral program June 27, 2013 16 pages. Program from his funeral I attended,” read a listing asking for a $1,000 opening bid or a Buy It Now price of $1,300.

The plain black and white program, which bears a face shot of Gandolfini and the seal of The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine where his service was held, reads “A Celebration of the Life of James John Gandolfini.”

“I’m a huge fan myself and this really is a must have for the ultimate Sopranos and James Gandolfini fan,” read another listing on eBay hocking a “mint condition” booklet with “no tears, no folds.”

“Happy bidding, shipping is free and I ship all over the world,” the listing added.

The seller started the bidding at $85 with a Buy It Now price listed at $1,200. Nobody had placed a bid by yesterday afternoon.
