Manhattan

A man with a lengthy rap sheet was shot dead Tuesday in East Harlem, cops said.

The 22-year-old man was in the Metro North Houses on First Avenue near East 102nd Street at around 4 a.m. when he was shot multiple times in the hallway on the eighth floor, according to police.

He was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, cops said.

No arrests have been made.

The name of the victim has not been released pending proper family notification.

The victim had at least 23 sealed prior arrests. It was unclear what sparked the violence.

Brooklyn

A man was caught on video surveillance trying to use a stolen credit card at a Bedford-Stuyvesant deli shortly after he robbed a man, cops said.

The mugger pulled a gun on the victim near Benjamin Banneker public school on Kosciuszko Street and Marcy Avenue at around 10:50 p.m. Jan. 5, police said.

The suspect (right) demanded the victim’s wallet and cellphone.

Less than an hour later, he was caught on video surveillance trying to use the stolen credit card at G Line Deli and Grocery, cops said.


A bandit burglarized an apartment in Sunset Park after discovering that the resident had left without locking the front door, authorities said.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video milling about the hallway of a building on Fourth Avenue near 58th Street at around 4 p.m. Dec. 18, cops said.

The thief went from door to door before coming across the unlocked apartment, where he grabbed an Apple MacBook laptop before fleeing, cops said.

The Bronx

A young woman (left) robbed a livery cab driver at gunpoint after she took a ride from East Harlem to the West Bronx on Saturday, police said.

The driver picked her up on East 116th Street and Pleasant Avenue and dropped her off at Bathgate Avenue and East 179th Street at about 8:30 p.m.

The woman pulled out a gun and demanded money from the driver, who forked over $90 in cash, cops said.

The thief was caught on camera in the livery cab wearing a white scarf and head wrap.


Two thieves are wanted for robbing at least 11 businesses throughout The Bronx, cops said.

The spree started Nov. 15 when a man and a woman walked into the Family Dollar store on Boston Road in Fairmont-Claremont Village and ordered the clerk to hand over the cash in the register as the man held the employee at gunpoint and the woman acted as a lookout, cops said.

The pair fled with $114.

The couple robbed the other establishments in the same manner, with their biggest score occurring on Dec. 14, when they made off with about $4,500 from a Boost Mobile store on Webster Avenue in Concourse Village, according to police.

The most recent robbery occurred Jan. 3 when they knocked off a Metro PCS on West Kingsbridge Road, stealing $100, cops said.

Police said the man is believed to be in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds.

His partner is in her 20s, about 5-foot-5 and 190 pounds.

Queens

A man was shot after getting into a fight with a thug in Jamaica, authorities said.

The shooter blasted the victim in the left shoulder following an argument on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard near 109th Avenue at around 6 a.m. Sunday, according to police.

The gunman fled in a black Q35 Infinity, cops said.

Police released a sketch of the thug and described him as around 6 feet tall and weighing around 175 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and a baseball cap with the letter A on it.
