A state correction officer was arrested for possession of 11 bags of crack cocaine after he was seen buying the drug from another man who was also arrested, cops said yesterday.
James Minally, 53, was spotted by members of the Staten Island Narcotics Unit buying crack at 11:05 p.m. Friday at Targee Street and Vanderbilt Avenue, police said.
Minally, of Brookfield, Conn., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
The man from whom Minally allegedly bought the crack, Daniel Samuel, 20, of Staten Island, was also arrested, charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
