Live and let fly: Prince William gets search and rescue pilot reality TV show

Prince William’s heroic work as an RAF rescue pilot will be shown in a behind-the-scenes television documentary.

Daring Wills’s day job, working as Flight Lieutenant Wales, will be part of the new BBC series.

The Duke of Cambridge, set to become a father this summer, takes the controls of a Sea King helicopter based at RAF Valley in Anglesey, north Wales.

His role is set to get extensive coverage in the series, called Helicopter Rescue.

The Prince’s squadron often work in tough conditions, searching the mountains of Snowdonia for fallen, injured or missing walkers.
