Restraining order

One of the pleasures of having amnesia is forgetting the worst parts of your own life. On “Samantha Who?” Samantha (Christina Applegate) is learning, as the amnesia subsides, that she was a real pain in the neck. When she takes a stroll with her boyfriend (Barry Watson), she finds out that she was a public nuisance as well. She meets an old boyfriend and discovers that he has a restraining order against her. Through some armchair psychology, Samantha decides that her bottomless need for attention derives from a bad relationship with her father (Kevin Dunn) and takes several outlandish steps to make things better.

Wedding bell blues

Karen Darling (Natalie Zea) likes to get married – a lot. She’s about to wed husband number 4 when she gets cold feet. Lisa George (Zoe McLellan) knows that Natalie is still in love with her husband number 1, Nick (Peter Krause). While we wait and see if that wedding actually goes through, the minister in the Darling family, Brian (Glenn Fitzgerald) has an unpleasant confrontation with the mother of his son, Brian Jr. Mom wants him back just as Brian has grown fond of the urchin. The future senator in the family (William Baldwin) freaks out when his wife learns of his affair with a tranny.

Desperate measures

A Russian nuclear power plant worker is exposed to a deadly dose of radiation in PU-239. Played by Paddy Considine, the man is suspended without my pay by his bosses, just as he is about to die. The radiation victim steals a small amount of weapons grade plutonium (PU-239) and goes to Moscow where he plans to sell it to provide for his family. Moscow is full of C-list mobsters and the man meets an inept gangster (Oscar Isaac) to help him sell

the dangerous goods on the black market.

Monkey business

Destination: Borneo. The rescue of 35 orphaned orangutans from a vanishing wilderness by an animal rights group is the subject of “Orangutan Island.” No sooner are the orangutans successfully relocated to an island sanctuary that the rainy season begins. The island is deluged with water and one of the monkeys, Mogok, goes missing. Orangutans can’t swim, so if Mogok isn’t learning to tough it out during the storm, he is in serious trouble. The one-eyed Chen Chen squares off with Hamlet, who just wants to boss everyone around.

The devil (Ray Wise) gives Sam (Bret Harrison) an expensive watch as a gesture of gratitude for all his hard work on “The Reaper.” Unfortunately, Sam discovers the devil was setting him up to take the rap for a murder committed by the latest escaped soul from hell. Meanwhile,. Sam’s buddy Sock (Tyler Labine) becomes obsessed with Gladys, an administrator from the DMV, after she comes into The Work Bench and makes some questionable purchases. He and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) follow her home and suspect she may be hiding bodies in her house.
