‘JUNGLE’ JANITOR TERRIFIES TEACHER

A janitor’s impromptu rendition of “Welcome to the Jungle” over a school loudspeaker prompted panic when a teacher working after hours thought he was threatening her with the song’s line “You’re gonna die!”

The Roxbury, Conn., teacher quickly called cops.

Once there, they found the teen custodian and two pals, who admitted playing around with the public address system. They copped to singing the Guns N’ Roses hit.

The cops took the incident seriously and handcuffed the crackpot crooners.

Eventually, everything was straightened out, and they won’t face charges, said state police Sgt. Brian Van Ness.

“These things happen,” Van Ness said. “Luckily it was humorous.”
