Veterans day Well-respected industry vet Rob Dauber (“The Martha Stewart Show,” “The “Rosie O’Donnell Show,” “Oprah”) has been hired as the executive producer of Wendy Williams’ upcoming talk show. The show, produced by Debmar-Mercury, still hasn’t finalized a home or a launch date (early summer is a possibility), but it’ll be produced in the New York market.

Speaking of industry vets, Stephen Chao – who had stints as the head of pro gramming at Fox and USA – has co-founded a new Web site, wonderhowto.com, de scribed as “the most com plete how-to video resource on the Web.” The site has over 100,000 “how-to” in structional videos (every thing from watching Paul McCartney make mashed potatoes to learning how to set type). Chao co-founded wonderhowto.com with Mike Goedecke.

Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York” snared 824,000 viewers in its pre miere Tuesday night (11 p.m.) – decent numbers for Bravo – but lost over 100,000 view ers from its lead-in, the sea son finale of “The Million aire Matchmaker” (938,000 viewers).

Monday’s 8:30 p.m. episode of TLC’s “Little People, Big World,” meanwhile, snared nearly 2.4 million households – a series record.

Last, but not least: * Fox’s “New Amster dam” is offering free admis sion to The New York City Police Museum (100 Old Slip) all day Saturday. Nyc policemuseum.org has info.

* Naomi Judd, Brett Manning and Aimee Mayo will judge this season’s “Can You Duet” (April 14/CMT).

* Ch. 9 will air a two-hour 25th anniversary special July 20 commemorating the McDonald’s Gospelfest 2008 (June 14 at the Prudential Cen ter), which features Kirk Franklin, among others.
