City residents with Thursday recycling pick-ups are being asked to cling to their recyclables for a bit longer.
The two back-to-back Thursday holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Day are pushing regular Thursday recycling collection off until Friday, Jan. 2.
Garbage collection will also be suspended Jan. 1.
