MOM KILLED IN HIT-RUN

A woman was and killed in a hit-and-run accident outside a Brooklyn beauty salon last night, cops said.

The victim, identified by relatives as Stacey Blount, 45, had gone with her daughter to pick up a friend’s daughter from the D.D. Michael beauty salon on Mother Gaston Boulevard in East New York.

As she crossed the street, a white van being followed by cops slammed into her, catapulting her body about 100 feet, according to witnesses. The van sped from the scene.

“She just left here and two minutes later, she got hit,” said a stylist who gave her name as Alisa. “Her daughter came in here screaming, ‘My mother got hit! My mother got hit!’ ”

Blount was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital shortly after the 7 p.m. accident.

The mother of two was a longtime customer, salon workers said.

“I can’t believed this happened to her. I can still see her leaving the store, smiling, laughing, telling everyone, ‘Happy New Year,’ ” Alisa said.
