RHYME$ & CRIMES

A Brooklyn teacher earning nearly $73,000 a year was busted for trying to hock her poems to school parents for $10 a pop, city officials said.

But instead of cashing in, Sharon Murrell, a fifth-grade teacher at PS 328 in East New York, was ordered to pay $1,000 by the city’s Conflicts of Interest Board for using her position as a teacher to solicit business from parents.

Murrell copped to pitching her framed poems.
