Dec. 7 – Brian Fernandez swept Donna Miele off her feet on their wedding day. “While walking back down the aisle holding my husband’s hand, he picked me up and carried me out of the church!” says the bride, an account executive for Clipper Magazine. Fernandez, an engineer for Northrop Grumman, married his bride at St. Peter’s Church, near their home on Staten Island. Afterward, 150 guests joined the newlyweds at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ, for a reception. But the bride’s favorite part of the day didn’t come until later, at the after-party. “The cocktail room was transformed into a lounge with a DJ, dance floor and a butler who served martinis and chocolate truffles,” says Miele. “It was a blast!”
