ALBANY -Joseph Bruno, the former state Senate majority leader, sustained minor injuries in a two-car crash on a snowy upstate road yesterday afternoon.
His spokesman, Kris Thompson, said Bruno, 79, was released from a hospital after treatment for cuts and bruises.
A car crossed the median and collided with Bruno’s as he drove west on Route 7 in the Albany suburb of Colonie.
Bruno, who is under federal indictment on charges of abusing his public position to enrich himself by more than $3 million, retired from the state Senate last year.
