NBA legend Charles Barkley – wearing a Nike track suit and gold chain – signed autographs and chatted with fellow inmates yesterday while serving the first day of his three-day Arizona jail sentence for drinking and driving on New Year’s Eve.
Barkley, 45 – who has been a “model inmate” so far, according to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio – is on work release, so he gets to wear his own clothes instead of the standard-issue pink boxers and striped jumpsuit.
