HOT HUNKS OF THE HOOSEGOW

THE good news, ladies, is that the man of your dreams – hot, built and available – is ready and waiting.

The bad news is you’ll have to wait five to 10 years to get him.

A TriBeCa artist has formed a growth industry, combining the human traits of loneliness, longing and desperation – with bank robbery, rape and murder.

It’s called hotprisonpals.com, a Web site that hooks up folks who need a hug with those who haven’t had one in years.

“I was in a 12-step program,” said Sam Wagner, founder of the only con-dating site in the city, “and I saw a sign, ‘Hi, my name is Richie. I’m in Attica Prison and would appreciate it if anyone could write me.’ ”

Without access to the Internet, cons write letters as frequently as an 18th century widow. Wagner couldn’t help but notice that prisoners’ bodies get rock hard from exercise. He saw an opportunity.

There are two rules to join his Web site:

1. You must be in prison.

2. You must be smoking hot.

“If the guys who send applications aren’t hot enough, I have to send them back,” said Wagner.

He gets pictures from inmates every day who often fork over the fee of $19 to $39 for a personal ad with checks drawn on prison bank accounts.

In the last two years, hotprisonpals.com has scored 15 million hits, and it’s rising. Advertisers are clamoring to be on it. So Wagner, 46, took on a partner, Jason Rupp.

They don’t screen prisoners’ records. It’s buyer beware.

“If a guy says, ‘Send me $5,000,’ a woman’s going to get conned,” he said.

Hot guys on the site include William Leonard, doing a long prison stretch in Nevada.

“I’m a genuine Alpha Male,” wrote Leonard. “I spent the last 16 years in solitary confinement. I’m dominant, aggressive and into kinky relationships. I’m also bisexual. I’m seeking Loyal Submissive types (Male or Female). I look forward to hearing from YOU.”

Sorry, Leonard, I don’t do inmates.

But plenty do.
