RAGING ‘NOBU’LL’: DE NIRO TO LAUNCH HOTEL

Oscar-winner Robert De Niro has a new act.

The “Raging Bull” star – who already owns several restaurants and hotels – will open a Japanese-themed condo-hotel complex in Financial District. His Nobu Hotel will offer condos as well as hotel rooms, a spa – and, not surprisingly, a Nobu restaurant.

De Niro is a partner in the upscale Japanese restaurant chain.

“Instead of a mint on the pillow, you’ll could find a sushi roll,” quipped Richie Notar, one of his partners.

The rooms will have such amenities as minibars with green tea and sake and room service from the restaurant.

The hotel, scheduled to open in two to four years, will be the world’s second. The first Nobu Hotel will open this summer in Herzliya, a town on the Mediterranean known as Israel’s answer to the Riviera.

“It’s really exciting for us,” said the actor’s son, Raphael De Niro, a Prudential Douglas Elliman broker who will be marketing the properties here and in Israel. The building, at 50 Broad St., will have 140 units – half condos, half hotel rooms.
