CHEATO VITO IN DC VOTE

Embattled Staten Island Rep. Fossella yesterday slinked back into House chambers to cast his first vote on the floor since admitting he sired a love child with an Air Force officer.

Ignoring all questions about the scandal, the Republican congressman voted to limit use of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

News of his illicit affair with Lt. Col. Laura Fay surfaced earlier this month after he was busted for DWI outside DC and he told cops he was on his way to see his “sick daughter.” Fay and the child live near where he was busted.

Fossella is quickly losing political allies “It would be difficult to show a case where [Fossella] could win” re-election, said Bob McFeeley of the Staten Island GOP executive committee. But Republican powerbroker and former Sen. Al. D’Amato told NY1 last night, “He can win . . . doing his job.”
