BILL MURRAY’S WIFE: HE’S A SEX ADDICT

Bill Murray’s wife wants a divorce because of his “adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment,” according to a report on papers filed in a South Carolina court.

Jennifer Butler Murray filed a complaint against the Academy Award-nominated actor May 12 in the Charleston County family court, according to the Post and Courier.

The Murrays married in 1997 and have four children together.

In 2006, Butler Murray moved into a separate house from the “Ghostbusters” and “Groundhog Day” star with their children because she charged he was running around on her and abusing drugs and alcohol. Butler Murray claimed in the court papers that said Murray “hit his wife in the face and then told her she was ‘lucky he didn’t kill her.'”

Murray, who doesn’t have a publicist or an agent, didn’t return calls to the Post and Courier.

Murray was awarded a Golden Globe for best actor and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in “Lost in Translation.”

He is also the co-owner of the Charleston RiverDogs baseball team, and is listed on its Web site as “director of fun.”

Murray made headlines last year when he was pulled over by Stockholm police while driving a golf cart. Police said he smelled of alcohol, although he refused a breathalizer test. He signed a document admitting to driving under the influence.
