DIVA DINA IS ‘JEALOUS’ OF OWN KID

THE question that’s choking both sides of the Hudson is this: What does Dina want?

For those who’ve schlepped out to Elizabeth to witness the debacle of a divorce trial between ex-New Jersey Gov. Jim “Gay American” McGreevey and his angry, soon-to-be-ex, Dina Matos, the answer is plain.

“She wants the pony,” said a source.

And so goes the nastiest divorce case since Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger grappled over their “thoughtless pig” (Alec’s words) daughter.

Dina Matos, who despises the surname McGreevey, can’t stand the fact that her 6-year-old girl, Jacqueline, gets to live in a mansion when she’s with her dad, attending parties filled with ponies and face painting.

Dina, my source concluded, is “jealous” of her little girl.

Stories are legion about Dina’s fits of pique, said another source, formerly a good friend of Dina’s.

She used state troopers, said the ex-friend, “like little slaves” to carry heavy parcels. But when the pal tried to give a trooper a present, Dina refused.

Dina can’t stand to see her hub and baby living the high life, while she must work, said my source.

“She wants Mark’s money,” said the source, referring to Jim’s boyfriend, the wealthy Mark O’Donnell. “She can’t have it.”

Hoo boy.

Two calls to Dina’s lawyer, John Post, went unanswered. Jim McGreevey declined comment.

In the trial, Dina revealed what she wants from Jim: $2,500 a month in alimony for four years. Plus another $1,750 in child support. She also wants equitable distribution of marital assets as of Feb. 15, 2005, plus half of what her hired expert said Jim is worth in “celebrity goodwill” – what the expert thinks Jim could make if he whored himself out.

Bottom line: She wants a cool million.

Then, she’ll try to nail Jim for fraud – for concealing his homosexuality. Jim says she knew and will present evidence of sexual threesomes to prove it. This should do their daughter proud.

The friend who was close with Dina came to a conclusion.

“She’s a spoiled brat.”

The dame who moved from her parents’ house to a governor’s mansion is used to getting what she wants.

When Dina left the mansion, she took hundreds of gifts – baby presents, birthday presents.

“They belong to me,” Dina said.

The gifts are believed to be growing mold in Dina’s basement.

Dina, get a new man.

Or maybe a woman?
